Last September the website for Vietnamese students studying in United States, www.vietabroader.org, held an essay writing contest for all Vietnamese students from the age of 15 to 20. The competition attracted a large number of participants with lots of superb and high-quality essays. Especially, 2 students from Hanoi Amsterdam High School achieved the highest prizes in the competition: Nguyen Viet Anh A2 03-06 and Bui Dieu Linh CE 03-06.

This contest is a helpful and effective way of encouraging and assisting students with their writing skills. Hopefully, Vietabroader could continue o­n with this event in upcoming years.
