Conference in Hanoi

 On 19th January, 2006, Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training organized 2006 Exam and Admission Meeting on EduNet and television networks in Hanoi, Hue, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho. In the meeting, the Ministry decided to cancel the regulation of awarding marks in university entrance exam for excellent-graduated high school students.

Basically, in 2006,department of education and training continuously maintains the stableness in holding exams, avoiding big changes, determined to have safe, serious, fair and exactly evaluative exams, reducing difficulty and wastefulness. In the university and college admission regulation, the Ministry added new priority beneficiaries and canceled the awarding marks of entrance exam regulation for excellent-graduated high school students. However, students who are awarded national or international academic prizes are still automatically admitted.
