Tet!Tet!Tet!Tet is coming! Tet is coming in everyone’s heart!!!


A year went by quickly, the spring is coming – a new year is coming. You and me and E-HAO are all o­ne year older. We still remember when HAO was founded not long ago, it was a small forum with few moderators building the forum strenuously, managing things from small to big o­nes themselves. HAO quickly turned 3 years old with its meaningful “Returning day” birthday. Entering the 4th age, HAO really proved its maturity and we are planning for further development and expansion.


During last year, HAO had a big step o­n its way to develop the Hanoi – Amsterdam high school student association which is continuously getting more united and stronger. The members of HAO’s moderator team are becoming more active, increasing in quantity and quality. “Bamboos are not old but bamboo shoots already appear” – is what you can easily see in HAO’s management team. The most example is the strong involvement of many young students, many of whom are still in 10th or 11th grades. They have taken hold of many important responsibilities with a serious manner and an ultimate purpose of making the organization better.


In the year 2004, o­ne of the most outstanding activities of HAO, “The project of building the gate of Hanoi-Amsterdam high school” has been put forward and held by the moderators’ team. The project has been carrying out, promisingly successful next year. A new gate is a meaningful gift that HAO happily and proudly presents to Hanoi-Amsterdam high school.


On the forum, HAO continues to enlarge and upgrade its appearance. Many new boxes with a lot of interesting topics opened, which attract many members to discuss with passion. We can see some examples such as the birth of Box Rock, the upgrading of HAO English site E-HAO or the development of the Editorial staff’s mailbox. With a variety of internal improvements, HAO really becomes a bridge between students from Hanoi Amsterdam and those from inside and outside the country. Through the forum, many offline meetings have been organized not o­nly in Vietnam but also in plenty of other countries all over the world.


Although there is much work ahead, we – members of HAO can be proud of what we have done and will be achieving in the future.


In the occasion of a new year – the rooster – 2005, o­n behalf of the Management team, E-HAO board of news would like to wish HAO members and their family a year full of with luck and joy. Wish you all a new year with health and thriving, “incoming money is like water but out coming o­ne is like drops of water”. Wish you who are in colleges study well, play merrily, and not be out of your pockets. Besides, please send our wishes with health and happiness to your families, your relatives and your friends. In addition, wish HAO a new year of good jobs and successes in every fields. Despite times of hot debating and arguing o­n various topics, we hope that all HAO members will love and respect each other more so that HAO will always be a good friend and be a place to share our ideas and perspectives. We will do everything our best to make the experience in HAO unforgettable for generations of Hanoi Amsterdam students as well as of HAO’s members.
