On Wednesday 19/10/2005, Hanoi-Amsterdam Highschool - Youth Union Committee Council Meeting 2005-2006 was held at Hanoi-Amsterdam highschool in a warm and friendly atmosphere with the presence of the principal Mr. Do Lenh Dien, Ba Dinh Urban District Youth Union Committee, many teachers and 80 Youth Union committee representatives.

During the meeting, the previous Committee has summarized all activities and achievements that they have done so far during 2004-05 term. Exchanges with Ba Dinh Urban District highschools technical highschool, Exchange with 5 Highschools in Hanoi, Outstanding Student Festival, Chemistry Festival, Miss Ams Contest, ect... are a few to be named. Through these, they have gained a lot of experiences in organising and directing school activities. The Committee also proposed upcoming events and tasks for the new school-year, especially Hanoi-Amsterdam Highschool 20-year Celebration event.

A new Youth Union Committee who are going to lead the Youth Union during the term 2005-2006 also has been voted.
The new Student Organization Committee of Directors includes:

8) Nguyen Phuong Dung – 11Chemistry2
9) Nguyen Thanh An - 10 Math 2

The principal has been given an emotional speech which mentions a statement of an international professor: “In this world, being-known-all-over-the-world universities are as few as our finger-tips. However, your school is so surprising. Although it is just a highschool but it is well-known everywhere…” It is really a great honor to every student of our school Hanoi-Amsterdam.
Let’s hope that the new Youth Union Committee will do better and better and make us more and more proud.

Update news:
In 22/10/2005 afternoon, the new Youth Union Committee - term of 2005-2006 had the first meeting in order to assign tasks to each individual and proposing work directions and tasks that need to be accomplished in the coming school-year. By the end of the meeting, the Committee has elected:

- Secretary: comrade Hoang Phuong Thao - 11 English 1.
- Deputy Secretary: Nguyen Xuan Phong - 11 Physics 2.

Hope they two will do well in all the activities in term of 2005-2006.
