Following our Hanoi-Amsterdam’s tradition: Learn well -play well and as o­ne of school annual activities, Hanoi-Amsterdam Youth Union Committee offered Miss Nguyễn Thị Lan, a Physics teacher, to be in charge of a dancing class for all the current students. During the last 10 years, our school has become well-known in Hanoi with many talented dancing-couples and been considered as a student- dancing training centre.

You might be wrong if you think DANCING is something old fashion, effeminate and feeble.Try googling for a website about DANCESPORT, you would change your mind!

Have being called Classical Dancing because most dances were born in the eighteenth and the nineteenth centuries, such as: Vienna Waltz, Anglo Waltz, Tango… But many dances were created and performed all over the world at the early the twentieth century.So they are completely not old, aren't they?

Have you ever watched some dancers performing such dances as Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Jive, Paso Doble? Dynamic and fascinated steps make even non-dancers want to swing, persuade them to look for a dance class to learn to dance confidently o­n the floor!

And such classes are available for you, evey Wednesday (during time of the 4th and 5th lecture) or every Sunday morning (9:30am to 11am). You’ll be taught by Miss Lan, an experienced dance teacher. She will help you with every single step and posture with the desire: "Any Hanoi-Amsterdam students can dance!” You can register with as couples (one man along with a lady) or if you don’t have a partner, the Youth Union Committee would give you the chance to meet and get acquainted and dance with a friend of the opposite sex who has the same dancing passion like you!


Update news: another Dancing class helds every Sunday morning, from 9:15 to 11:30. If you want to learn dancing, H-A-O Dancesport Club (HDC) is for you. In HDC, dancing posture and spirit are more important than steps. You'll be instructed by many excellent supporters and o­ne instructor. After the first practice, you'll surely be more motivated in dancing and you'll love your body and your movement much more!
Joning HDC will give you the chance to be a dancer (not o­nly a music-mover) and opportunity to take part in the performer-group of HDC, which is going to perform in Hanoi-Amsterdam highschool 20th birthday Ceremony.
