As usual, this week began with a flag saluting ceremony which is attended by all Hanoi-Asmterdam’s teachers and students. Also this week we have a celebration o­n Vietnamese Teachers’ Day.

II – Weekly news:
1. o­n Saturday, 11/12/2005, our male soccer team had a final match with Hai Ba Trung High Shool in the Dilmah Soccer Cup. Though couldn’t bring the cup to home, our beloved team have played a spectacular game o­n Hàng Đẫy stadium. They have finished the tournament with the Second Place, not a bad result. This victory is for all our enthusiastic supporters
2. After a week launching a book donating campaign for studious but needy students of Ha Tay province, we have collected a number of over 1.300. These books are supposed to be a meaningful gift for our poor friends.
3. A Flowering Mark movement has been launched by Hanoi-Amsterdam’s Youth Union to promote studying atmosphere as well as celebrate the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day 20/11.
4. o­n Saturday 11/19/2005, we had a school day off.
5. Our new school entrance is being built quickly. A new fence has been raised. The main gate is supposed to be finished in several weeks
