   Gestures

Ninety percent of all information given off by a person is his/her body-language; gestures are humans' most essential form of communication.

Speaking may seem to be the everyday means of communication, or writing appears to be the world-wide recognized significant type of exchanging ideas; these are not as vital as they are perceived. In fact humans would have a difficult time understanding another person, even if they speak the same language.

For example, a saying could mean thousands of different things without a facial expression, an arm movement, or a switch of a stance; in another word, gestures or body-language.

More importantly, emotions and feelings are impossible to express correctly and understandably without gestures. For instance, the sentence "I love you" means nothing without a emotionally passionate smile, or some facial or physical "language" that indicates the meaning. Or the word "help" wouldn't have its meaning as the dictionary desbribes it if the person saying it doesn't show any body-languages accompanying with it.

Consequently, communication is incomplete without these unspoken-word factors.
