In those most animated days when the entire Hanoi-Amsterdam High School was eagerly looking forward to the 15th anniversary celebration of the school’s establishment on November 20, 2000, a student organisation was founded: Hanoi-Amsterdam Organization (H-A-O), whose initial aim was to establish a common virtual playground for students on the World Wide Web.

The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code, including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. All funds, whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift or contribution or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purposes.

Miss HAO was undoubtedly a successful event to recognize the beauty of all female members of HAO. Prizes had been awarded to the deserving misses for their splendid beauty and distinguished talents. As smooth as the event had gone, we should be thankful to all individuals, who devoted themselves to the success of Miss HAO. They are the ones, who came up with the ideas, who created the raw plan, and who had gone along side with Miss HAO until its last day. Yes, we are talking about not the lovely pretty misses, not the cheerful audience, but the organisers, the judges, the people that had travelled a long way to organize an event to revere the beauty of all HAO female partners.
